Elon Musk’s fortune is growing at an unprecedented pace. He has become the first person in history whose wealth surpassed the $700 billion mark. According to TASS, citing Forbes magazine, there was a sharp surge in the entrepreneur’s capital following an important court decision in the United States. The publication estimates that Musk’s total fortune has reached $749 billion. The growth in wealth is attributed to a Delaware Supreme Court verdict that reinstated Musk’s right to receive compensation in the form of Tesla stock options. This decision alone increased his capital by $139 billion in one day, putting him almost out of reach of other billionaires.

In the current Forbes ranking, Musk confidently holds the first position. Following him is Google co-founder Larry Page with a fortune of $252.7 billion, Oracle’s Larry Ellison with $242.8 billion, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, whose wealth is estimated at $239.4 billion. On December 15, Elon Musk crossed the $600 billion mark for the first time in history, which was then reported as $638 billion.
