The model with a 5000mAh battery measures 103 x 58.4 x 8 mm, weighing approximately 125 grams. The larger 10000mAh version measures 103 x 58.4 x 12.8 mm and weighs 189 grams. Both models feature an integrated stand on the back panel with the Dreame logo, as well as an LED indicator and a USB-C port at the bottom. The portable chargers provide wireless charging at 15 watts and wired charging up to 20 watts via USB-C. Additionally, they can charge two devices simultaneously: one connected through a cable and the other via wireless charging. Wireless charging supports modes of 5 watts, 7.5 watts, 10 watts, and 15 watts, with an energy conversion efficiency exceeding 60%.

In China, the prices are $31 and $37 respectively.

Revolutionary Qi2 Technology: What’s New?

Qi2 wireless charging signifies an evolution of the Qi standard, promising enhanced efficiency through better alignment facilitated by magnets. This technology promises to improve both charging efficiency and connectivity, positioning Dreame’s offering as a strong competitor in the burgeoning market of advanced portable power solutions. Its magnetic alignment feature is designed to be more foolproof, potentially reducing instances of misalignment common in earlier wireless chargers.

Market Implications and Competitor Analysis

As Dreame enters this competitive space, comparisons might be drawn with offerings from seasoned brands like Anker and Belkin, known for their wide range of power solutions. These brands also support wireless charging and are globally available, setting a high standard for Dreame’s entry to meet. The addition of a magnetic component at this price point could offer Dreame a unique selling proposition, appealing to a tech-savvy audience seeking innovative solutions.
