During the search, 512 devices ready for sale were seized. These imitated high-end models of the Korean brand: the Galaxy S Ultra, as well as foldable models like the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip. The fraudsters planned to sell these imitations for 35,000-40,000 rupees (approximately $420-$480). Besides smartphones, the police discovered 124 motherboards, 138 batteries, tools for assembly, and 459 counterfeit stickers with IMEI codes and markings “Made in Vietnam”.

The next step in the investigation will focus on tracing the supply chain of components and finding distribution channels to completely uncover the criminal network.
