Data from 3DCenter indicates that memory prices, at least for Germany, have stabilized. Over the last two weeks, prices for 20 different DDR5 memory models in Germany average out to be unchanged from mid-January. To be precise, there’s a negligible increase of 0.1%, almost not worth mentioning.

This represents an average figure. Some models have increased in price, while others have seen a decrease. The most significant changes include a 17% rise and a 15% drop in prices.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t necessarily mean that prices will not rise at all moving forward. It is crucial to recall that Micron has already announced a price increase of 115-125%, while Samsung and Hynix are currently waiting it out.
As of early 2026, global memory markets are experiencing dynamic shifts. Despite temporary stabilization, economic pressures and production constraints suggest price volatility could resume. Consumers should remain attentive as manufacturers like Micron lead with substantial price hikes, and competitive reactions from Samsung and Hynix could affect global pricing structures.
