At the Guangzhou Auto Show, which opened on November 21, Chery unveiled its latest coupé-crossover, the Fulwin T9L, previously known as the “E06”. This vehicle marks a new direction for Chery, showcasing a completely novel design, advanced electronics, and intelligent driver assistance systems. The model is slated to hit the market in the second quarter of 2026.
The exterior of the Fengyun T9L is designed in a minimalist style. The closed-off front is adorned with slim lighting elements, and the clean lines eliminate any excessive aggression from the design. The lower section features a trapezoidal air intake, complemented by LED sections on the sides. The car’s profile epitomizes that of a coupé-crossover. Its dimensions are 4870 x 1930 x 1710 mm, with a wheelbase of 2920 mm.
The interior is equipped with a digital instrument panel and a two-tone multifunctional steering wheel. At the center of the dashboard is a massive 17.3-inch display with 2.5K resolution. The central console houses a wireless charging pad and large cup holders. The front seats feature zero-gravity effects with 16-way electric adjustments, ventilation, heating, massage, memory functions, and lumbar support. The second row seats can be tilted up to 35 degrees, also offering ventilation and heating. The sound system boasts 23 speakers with a power output of 1080 watts. A car refrigerator is also available, offering a temperature range from 6 to 50 degrees Celsius.
The Fulwin T9L is equipped with the Falcon 700+ autonomous driving system, featuring a LiDAR sensor on the roof and a Horizon Journey 6P chip with a computing power of 560 TOPS. The vehicle can independently change lanes and overtake on highways, exit interchanges, and recognize traffic lights in urban settings, as well as perform turns.
Chery Fulwin T9L includes a Kunpeng C-DM 5.0 hybrid system, built on a 1.5-liter engine with a thermal efficiency of 45.79%. The total system output is 353 horsepower. It uses a DHT260 transmission. The all-wheel-drive version accelerates to 62 mph (100 km/h) in “just over five seconds.” The top speed is 149 mph (240 km/h).
