Chery has initiated blind pre-orders for the new mid-size SUV Fulwin T9L, which will make its market debut after the Chinese New Year. The car exhibits a modern design with a semi-closed front grille, integrated slim headlights, and a multi-layered lower bumper with ventilation slots. The SUV’s dimensions are 191.7 inches (4870 mm) in length, 75.9 inches (1930 mm) in width, and 67.3 inches (1710 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 115 inches (2920 mm). Side view of the Fulwin T9L showcases flush door handles and frameless mirrors, while the rear features a through-type tail light cluster with a streamlined shape and dot-matrix design.

The interior is equipped with a full-size LCD instrument panel, a two-tone steering wheel, and a central IMAX screen measuring 17.3 inches diagonally with a 2.5K HD resolution. The central console includes dual air vent outlets, wireless charging, and horizontal dual cup holders. The front seats boast a “zero gravity” system, 16-position electric adjustment, ventilation, heating, massage functions, and memory settings. Second-row seats offer electric recline adjustment up to 35 degrees, ventilation, and heating, with a legroom space reaching 40.8 inches (1037 mm).

According to recent industry insights, Chery is enhancing their SUV offerings to compete aggressively in the international markets. By incorporating the latest technology and modern designs, they aim to disrupt the traditional SUV segment. The Fulwin T9L is expected to compete with major international brands, providing advanced features at a more competitive price point. Analysts suggest that this move could strengthen Chery’s position in global markets, particularly in regions where affordability and high-tech features are prioritized by consumers.
