Asus has unveiled the new pre-built gaming PC, TUF Gaming TM500, with initial details having emerged just days ago. This entry-level gaming PC boasts corresponding components that make it a viable option for gamers seeking power on a budget.
At its core lies the Ryzen 7 260 processor, which is essentially a rebranded version of the Ryzen 7 8845HS. Gamers are particularly interested in the graphics card choice here. It’s either the GeForce RTX 5060 or the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB, with the AMD variant being inherently more powerful and boasting additional graphic memory, likely contributing to a higher price tag.
This model offers up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and accommodates one M.2 SSD alongside two SATA III drives, ensuring ample storage space and speed for various gaming needs.
Notably, the device features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, a 330-watt power supply, and a single USB-C port positioned on the front panel.
Another highlight is the uniquely designed cooling system. Although Asus doesn’t provide extensive details, the images indicate that the CPU socket is significantly shifted to the right on the motherboard. This allows the CPU cooler to be installed directly on the CPU, while a case fan occupies a spot on the left. Such an arrangement helps expel the CPU’s hot air directly out of the case, potentially improving thermal management and system stability.
