Asus Sticks to Old Allies, Snubs Own RAM Production

Asus has refuted information from Sakhtafzarmag, stating that it does not intend to establish its own production of RAM modules. Following this report, CNA directly contacted Asus for confirmation. The company declared the information false. Instead of manufacturing its own memory, Asus will continue to deepen partnerships with memory suppliers and respond to market demand and supply by adjusting product specifications and optimizing their life cycles.

If we look at the main manufacturers of computer components, indeed, none of those primarily engaged in motherboards, graphics cards, PCs, and laptops produce their own RAM modules.

In the current market scenario, key players like Asus benefit from robust supply chain dynamics. By not engaging in the production of their own RAM, Asus can allocate resources to innovate core products and respond dynamically to market shifts without the additional burden of manufacturing overheads associated with RAM production. This strategic decision allows Asus to leverage the technological advancements and economies of scale by established RAM manufacturers, maintaining cost-effectiveness while ensuring high performance standards.
