ASUS Introduces Dual OLED Monitors to Excite Gamers at CES 2026

ASUS has unveiled two new gaming monitors, both featuring OLED panels. The models, ROG Swift PG27UCWM and ROG Swift PG34WCDN, differ significantly. Their screens vary in size, aspect ratio, resolution, and even curvature, with one being curved and the other flat.

The ROG Swift PG34WCDN is an ultra-wide 34-inch monitor with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. Utilizing a curved (1800R) QD-OLED panel from the latest V-Stripe lineup, its subpixel arrangement enhances text clarity. ASUS promotes 10-bit color representation, Delta E below two for accurate color reproduction, a remarkable 360 Hz refresh rate, and the inclusion of BlackShield Film for improved black depth under bright lighting conditions.

The ROG Swift PG27UCWM utilizes a 27-inch flat WOLED panel of the fourth generation with a 4K UHD resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. However, this is a dual-mode monitor, offering a second mode of Full HD at 480 Hz. The subpixel structure is identical, and the absence of a black film is due to WOLED panels not suffering from a purple tint under intense external light.

CES 2026 marked a significant moment for these monitors. Industry experts praised the ROG Swift PG34WCDN for its immersive gaming experience, attributing it to the 21:9 aspect ratio and nearly instantaneous pixel response times, which reduce motion blur.

Additionally, the PG27UCWM is gaining attention for its flexibility in refresh rates, which is expected to attract competitive gamers who demand high frame rates without affecting color accuracy and clarity. As technology advances, ASUS’s focus on OLED has set a new benchmark for gaming displays.
