Apple has unveiled a new beta version of its Apple Watch, called watchOS 10.2 Release Candidate. This beta should be the final version, provided no problems are discovered.
The tech giant has simultaneously released several other beta versions, such as iOS 17.2 Release Candidate, macOS 14.2 Release Candidate and iPadOS 17.2 Release Candidate. The new beta update brings a variety of new features to the Apple Watch.
Apple has shared the official release notes for watchOS 10.2. Here’s what they contain:
watchOS 10.2 includes exciting new features, enhancements and bug fixes:
– Siri now allows users to access and track data in the Health app (available only on Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2).– When close to a HomePod (2nd generation) or HomePod mini while playing Music or Podcasts, the Apple Watch automatically displays Now Playing (available only on Apple Watch Series 6 and later and Apple Watch Ultra).– Users can now change watch faces in Settings.– Users can now confirm the end of workouts in Settings.– In most Fitness+ workouts, users can prioritize the volume of the music or the voice of the trainers.– Bug fix: resolves the problem of watch faces added in the Watch app on iPhone not appearing on the Apple Watch.
