The U27G4XM model features a 27-inch Mini-LED panel with 1152 LED zones. The monitor boasts a DisplayHDR 1000 certification and a peak brightness of 1200 cd/m². Additionally, it is a dual-mode monitor. The native resolution is 4K UHD with a refresh rate of 160Hz. However, the monitor can be switched to Full HD resolution with a refresh rate of 320Hz. There are few monitors like this on the market, especially using Mini-LED technology.

The Mini-LED technology offers a competitive edge by providing deeper blacks and greater contrast compared to traditional LED displays. This feature is particularly attractive for gaming and professional graphics work, where color accuracy and dynamic range are crucial.

The latest trends in gaming monitors suggest a growing demand for higher refresh rates and enhanced display technologies like Mini-LED, which AOC’s new model addresses effectively. Competitors in the market, such as ASUS and LG, have also been pushing the boundaries, announcing new models equipped with similar advanced display technologies, marking a competitive race towards innovation.

The price for this innovative model is £400. With the latest currency exchange rates, this is approximately $492. Sales begin in January, poised to capture a market segment eager for cutting-edge display technology.

According to industry experts, “The DisplayHDR 1000 certification indicates that the U27G4XM can deliver impressive brightness and color performance, setting a new standard for immersive viewing experiences.”
