On Chinese marketplaces today, sales began for the new Xiaomi Mijia 12 kg washing machine. The recommended price is 1,624 yuan ($230), but with a state subsidy, the device is available for only 1,299 yuan ($185).

As the creators say, the washing machine is marked by a high efficiency washing coefficient of 1.2, which is noticeably higher than the national standard of 1.03. The system uses an intelligent laundry weighing system and precise adjustment of washing speed under the load volume.
The Xiaomi Mijia 12 kg’s control system includes 25 modes, among which: a quick wash in 15 minutes; odor removal; laundry fragrance; steam sterilization and mite destruction; high-temperature drum cleaning. At its core is a direct-drive motor, with a 10-year warranty (and 3 years for the entire machine).
The device supports the Xiaomi ecosystem and management through the Mi Home app or using the Xiao Ai voice assistant. Recent updates have focused on enhancing the smart connectivity features, ensuring seamless integration with other smart home devices.
Amidst global economic fluctuations and technological innovations, Xiaomi’s strategy appears to leverage affordability and advanced functionality as key competitive edges, catering to budget-conscious consumers without compromising on performance. Industry experts note that such products could see a rise in demand in emerging markets where smart technology adoption is steadily rising.
