AMD has officially announced the Ryzen 5 7500X3D gaming processor, recently spotted online and already available for purchase, at least in the American MicroCenter network.
This processor is now AMD’s most affordable gaming CPU for the AM5 platform, priced at just $270 or €280, indicating it’s finally a global model. Moreover, it will be widely available, not limited to select AMD partners.
The new processor boasts six cores with speeds up to 4.5 GHz, just 200 MHz lower than the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, 64 MB third-level cache, and has a TDP of 65 watts. According to AMD’s own tests, this affordable newcomer easily outperforms more expensive competitors such as the Core Ultra 5 245KF and Core i5-14600K in gaming.
The adoption of 3D V-Cache technology in this model enhances gaming performance significantly, a feature especially appealing to gamers who demand more without stretching their budget. The integration of this technology sets a new standard in balancing cost and performance.
“With its compelling price point and robust features, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D is poised to attract a broad spectrum of gamers, redefining expectations in the budget gaming segment,” remarked a well-known tech industry analyst.
This move by AMD is expected to stir the market, placing pressure on competitors to deliver similar value. Such dynamics promise more competitive pricing and innovation, benefiting consumers in the long run.
