At CES 2026, Bosch unveiled the integration of Alexa Plus into its automatic coffee machines, the Bosch 800 Series. This update allows users to control the devices through voice commands via the Echo smart speaker, customizing drinks and brewing parameters in a natural conversational manner. Earlier, Bosch coffee machines were compatible with Alexa voice controls, but this new integration expands the assistant’s capabilities. Previously, setting up a specific drink required pre-configuring the respective command in the Alexa app. Now, as the manufacturer claims, you can simply ask to make any beverage from the coffee machine’s extensive library, and Alexa Plus will recognize and fulfill the request.
Aside from the Alexa Plus integration, Bosch also presented the Bosch Cook AI at CES 2026. This intelligent solution combines artificial intelligence, Bosch’s proprietary technologies, sensors, and user experience in the Home Connect app. Bosch Cook AI is designed to provide users with real-time instructions via the Home Connect app when preparing complex dishes, such as simultaneously cooking multiple steaks at various doneness levels. The system can also intelligently coordinate the operation of multiple Bosch appliances at once.
