Frore Systems has launched its second-generation solid-state cooling element, the AirJet Mini G2, at Computex 2025. This breakthrough technology boasts a 42% increase in performance over its predecessor, positioning it as a leading solution for various computing devices. With fanless operation, the AirJet enhances both performance and reliability.
The AirJet Mini G2 maintains impressive efficiency, dissipating up to 7.5 watts of heat with a mere noise level of 21 dBA, all while retaining its compact 27.3 × 41.6 × 2.5 mm dimensions. Despite the increased performance, it still creates the same 1750 Pa of back pressure and weighs just 7 grams. This advancement is achieved through internal optimization, as the full technical details remain under wraps.
One of the standout features of the AirJet Mini G2 is its fanless operation, offering dust protection and water resistance with a self-cleaning mechanism. This innovative design accommodates up to four modules to dissipate a total of 30 watts, suitable for cooling processors in low-power laptops.
Crevis, a Korean company, has pioneered the use of Frore’s new cooling technology in their industrial camera with machine vision. This integration supports high-quality image processing and elevated frame rates in a compact setup. Looking ahead, there are plans for Frore G2 chips to become integral components in personal computers, Wi-Fi access points, industrial systems, and solid-state drives. Iodyne, a notable player, hints at releasing an updated SSD featuring enhanced heat dissipation.
The AirJet Mini G2 marks a significant step forward in cooling technology, likely driving stronger performance across a spectrum of devices in the near future.
