Sony is gearing up to unveil the wireless WF-1000XM6 earbuds, a new model in their flagship lineup. The new model will have a slightly updated design, while the case will be completely different: much more angular.
The new model will feature the new QN3e audio processor and eight microphones compared to six in the current generation. The drivers will also be new, and the DAC will somehow be improved. The source also mentions the 360 Reality Audio function with head position tracking, a more intelligent Ambient Mode with three automatic profiles, and fuller LE Audio and Auracast integration. The equalizer will be expanded to 10 bands. Battery life is promised to be up to 8 hours plus an additional 16 hours provided by the case.
