SmallRig has launched an updated version of its NP-F970 battery, designed for use in extremely low temperatures. Thanks to its construction, which is tailored for cold weather, it can operate efficiently down to -40°C. This makes it a reliable power source without the need for additional heating equipment. The price is set at $100.
Reportedly, this battery boasts a capacity of 7500mAh and is equipped with USB-C and USB-A ports, allowing it to function as a power bank for charging smartphones, tablets, and other devices. Built-in contacts make it suitable for powering common photographic equipment.

When it comes to technical specifications, this battery supports PD fast-charging protocol and 36W self-charging, enabling a full charge in just two hours.
