Recently, Microsoft announced the game Forza Horizon 6, which will also be available on PC. A page is already up on Steam, with system requirements listed. Currently, only the minimum requirements are available, but they are quite intriguing. Alongside the GeForce GTX 1650 and Radeon RX 6500 XT, the minimum includes Intel Arc A380 and Arc B390 GPUs, marking the inclusion of an integrated graphics processor. This is a notable first for a modern, demanding game.

It’s important to note that the Arc B390 is the fastest iGPU in its class. Only the Radeon 8050S/8060S chips surpass it, intended for entirely different level processors. The Arc B390 significantly outperforms the GTX 1650, which is also listed in the system requirements. As for Forza Horizon 6, the game’s release is set for May 19.
While integration of Intel’s Arc GPUs is a pioneering move, the gaming community is buzzing with excitement. Analysts have compared the Arc B390 favorably against both AMD and Nvidia’s offerings, highlighting its ability to deliver high performance without needing a separate dedicated GPU.
As Microsoft aims to redefine gaming standards, industry experts are awaiting potential future updates that may bring enhanced features or additional content. The community’s anticipation is palpable, with forums already discussing possible extensions and modding capabilities that could further enrich the gaming experience.
