In the top five brands, two Chinese brands made an appearance: Chery took fourth place with 14,570 sales, while Jetour was just 63 cars behind, finishing fifth. Of the ten most popular models, three were Chinese hits, with the Changan CS55 Plus, now assembled directly in Kazakhstan, showing the best result among domestic peers.

Interestingly, the Kazakh automotive market has seen a rise in electric vehicle purchases, aligning with the global shift towards sustainability. Although specific numbers for electric vehicles were not mentioned, this trend contributes to the overall growth in car sales. The local assembly of cars like the Changan CS55 Plus indicates a strategic move to boost local manufacturing capabilities, further enhancing the country’s economic landscape.
