This slim device not only features an impressive battery but also boasts the industry’s thinnest periscope telephoto lens with a 64 MP sensor (maximum optical zoom 3.2x, maximum zoom – 100x). The resolution of the main camera module is 50 MP, with an optical format of 1/1.3 inches. The device will feature a smart flash of 5 LEDs for perfect portrait shooting under various equivalent focal lengths. Previously, samples of photos taken by the Magic 8 Pro Air camera were published. At the core of the device’s hardware platform will be the top-of-the-line Dimensity 9500 SoC. According to the pre-order page for the Magic 8 Pro Air on JD.com, the top version will feature 16 GB of RAM, with flash memory options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

The competition for Honor’s new release is fierce, with similar models emerging as worthy rivals. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, with its 200 MP camera and 100x Space Zoom, offers a compelling alternative. Moreover, insights from industry experts suggest that the Magic 8 Pro Air’s aggressive pricing strategy could make it a strong contender in the premium smartphone market. Early reviews highlight its robust processing power, lightweight design, and ultra-fast charging capability as standout features.
