It’s suggested that Nvidia might halt this particular model’s production to conserve memory resources. As the company’s most affordable 16GB card, Nvidia earns less from it compared to its other models, particularly due to the high cost of the currently scarce GDDR7 memory.
For gamers, this is unwelcome news for the same reason: a relatively accessible card with high memory might become unavailable or significantly more expensive, at least temporarily.
