Fairphone Launches Updated Fairbuds XL
Company Fairphone, known for its smartphones with maximum repairability and extensive support lifespan, has introduced the updated Fairbuds XL headphones. This improved version of the model, released in 2023, continues to push the boundaries of modern audio solutions.

The company has maintained the same maximum repairability and modular design but installed new 40mm drivers, enhancing the sound quality significantly. As these are modular headphones, the original model can be upgraded with these new drivers yourself. However, the total cost for this upgrade comes to 100 EUR ($107). A slight design refresh includes IP54 protection, with the battery life remaining consistent at around 30 hours. Active noise cancellation is also present in this iteration.

The company emphasizes a high proportion of materials sourced from recycling. Codec support includes SBC, AAC, and aptX HD. The price for the new headphones is set at 250 EUR ($267), as previously.
