Geekom’s GeekBook X14 Pro Unveiling: A Subtle Downgrade or Misprint?

Geekom has officially unveiled the GeekBook X14 Pro, a laptop that had been previewed earlier this year. Interestingly, it seems the specifications have slightly changed since its initial introduction. Originally, the company spoke of Core Ultra 5 225H and Core Ultra 9 285H processors. However, current sources, while publishing official materials, indicate these are actually the Core Ultra 5 125H and Core Ultra 9 185H CPUs. This could either be a documentation error from Geekom or from the sources. Unfortunately, as the model isn’t listed on their website yet, confirmation remains pending.

Despite this, the laptop remains intriguing. It features a full-metal body, just 16.9 mm thick, and weighing only 999 g, housing a 14-inch OLED display with a 2.8K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

This new model is equipped with 32 GB RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and offers Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. Among its ports, there are two USB4, providing versatility for connectivity. The battery capacity is reasonably good at 72 Wh, with a 65-watt fast charging feature for convenience.

As of now, pricing details remain unavailable, yet the device is expected to hit the market in the coming days. The advance technological incorporation like offering USB4 and the latest Wi-Fi standard might interest users looking for cutting-edge connectivity options and media professionals who can make use of its advanced display capabilities.
