Exactly how the crease-free feature is implemented in the iPhone Fold remains unknown. One might recall the first foldable Motorola Droid Razr, which also had no crease. However, this was achieved because the panel wasn’t affixed at the hinge, increasing the risk of damage and lacking any water or dust resistance. No other crease-free designs have been invented as yet.
