This model revives the legendary BJ212, sharing its roots with the Russian UAZ. The completely new front features an original grille enclosing the round lighting, attracting special attention. The utilitarian style of the side with straight doors and square mirrors, coupled with a substantial tailgate and redesigned bumper with a step, accentuates practicality.

The major innovation lies under the hood-Explorer 01 is equipped with a 2.3-liter Dongfeng turbo diesel engine delivering 190 horsepower, developed in collaboration with Delphi.
