Additionally, the manufacturer has updated the exterior body kit. The xDrive40Li M Sport Shadow Edition features new 22-inch wheels replacing the former 21-inch ones, carbon decor, as well as complimentary options from the Black Flame Limited Edition series, which include branded wheels, brake calipers, and interior elements. The standard xDrive40Li M Sport Shadow Edition is equipped with 21-inch wheels, an M Performance braking system with blue calipers and larger discs, and ash wood trim without additional charge.

The engine lineup remains unchanged: both versions are equipped with a 48-volt mild hybrid system and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 30Li version is powered by a 2.0-liter engine producing 258 hp, while the 40Li version has a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine generating 381 hp. Recent tests demonstrated that the 3.0-liter engine offers a refined balance of power and efficiency, an aspect praised by automotive experts globally.
