AMD has officially launched its latest mid-range graphics card, the Radeon RX 9060 XT, now available globally. The Radeon RX 9060 XT promises enhanced gaming performance, making it a significant release for gamers everywhere.

Advanced RDNA 4 Technology

Powered by the Navi 44 GPU on the latest RDNA 4 architecture, the Radeon RX 9060 XT features 32 compute units, 64 AI accelerators, 32 RT cores, 128 texture units, and 64 raster units. This configuration equates to twice the number of transistors found in its predecessor, the Radeon RX 7600. With dual intersection units in each RT core, AMD has almost doubled ray-tracing performance compared to previous RDNA 3-based cards.

Competitive Performance

The Radeon RX 9060 XT uses GDDR6 memory running at 20Gbps with a 128-bit bus, offering a bandwidth of 320GB/s, which is below the 448GB/s of the GeForce RTX 5060 utilizing faster GDDR7 memory. Nonetheless, early reviews suggest the 16GB Radeon model competes well against the RTX 5060 Ti, especially in graphics performance and cost-effectiveness.

Availability and Pricing

According to VideoCardz, manufacturers like Asus, ASRock, Gigabyte, Sapphire, XFX, and others are offering the Radeon RX 9060 XT. Prices start at $299 for the 8GB versions (such as Asus Dual and Sapphire Pulse), reaching up to $419.99 for overclocked editions with 16GB memory. Standard 16GB models are available at the recommended price of $349.

International Market Impact

In Russia, availability is more limited. Gigabyte Gaming OC models are listed in the “DNS” network, priced at 44,000 rubles for the 8GB and 52,000 rubles for the 16GB version, with delivery expected by June 10. Furthermore, “Regard” offers Sapphire Pulse and Pure models, each with 16GB, at prices of 65,000 and 67,000 rubles, respectively, readily available from stock.
