2027 Kia Telluride: Making Big Waves with Subtle Updates

The company Kia has officially announced the prices for the updated 2027 model year crossover Telluride, which has undergone significant changes compared to its predecessor. The starting cost of the model in the LX configuration is $40,735, while the top-end SX Prestige X-Pro version will cost buyers $58,335. The vehicle has noticeably increased in size: the wheelbase has grown by almost 7 cm, providing additional room for passengers and slightly more space in the trunk.

The Kia Telluride 2027 has lost the atmospheric V6 engine with a volume of 3.8 liters; now a 2.5-liter turbo engine with a power of 274 hp is under the hood of the SUV (compared to 262 hp in the old V6). A hybrid version will also be available later, with prices announced closer to the sales launch at the end of the first quarter. The drive can be front or all-wheel (all-wheel drive costs an additional $2000; it is standard in the top version).

The base LX configuration is well-equipped: 18-inch wheels, LED optics, a media system with a 12.3-inch display, wireless interfaces Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included. In more expensive versions (S, EX, SX, SX Prestige), wheels up to 21 inches and a premium Meridian audio system with 14 speakers are present. The X-Pro version boasts an increased ground clearance of up to 23 cm, reinforced suspension, an electronic differential lock, and a rear self-leveling suspension.

Despite the large-scale update, the Kia Telluride 2027 has maintained a competitive price tag. It is slightly more expensive than the Ford Explorer ($40,160) and Dodge Durango ($40,990) but is cheaper than the Chevrolet Traverse ($42,795) and Honda Pilot ($43,690).
